Experience
I spent two years studying the Afghan language Pashto at the Defense Language Institute, and then taught the language to fellow Marines once I became fluent. I also spent 5 years as a Pashto cryptologic linguist. I really enjoyed my tutoring experience, because I was able to show my students that any difficulty they have can be overcome with patience and dedication. I have had some difficult courses in the past, so I work hard as a tutor to present concepts and lessons in simple terms so that they find it easy to understand. I am never condescending, and always try to build my student's confidence. I am available to tutor a number of different subjects, including Biology, Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Spanish 1-4, American History, Social Studies, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP United States History, IB Global Politics, IB History HL, Honors Chemistry, and many others. I can also help with any exam preparations. When I am not teaching I like to study different foreign languages and read the memoirs of military personnel.
