I'm a Computer Science Major at the University of North Texas, I'm planning to graduate in two years. I currently hold a 3.42 GPA.

Experience

I have tutored before and my most recent student said that I was able to communicate the curriculum to her much better than any teacher had in the past. While I do tutor for the money, I also do it because I love teaching math in a more lighthearted atmosphere than school generally permits, which is why I don't charge the exorbitant amounts of other tutors. It should also be noted that I have - Achieved an A in Calculus 2 - Achieved a 1930 on the SAT (630 on the math portion alone) - A wide knowledge of all things math related.

A quick note about my tutoring style: I like getting to know the student I'm working with and joking around with them while still focusing on the math. I firmly believe that a dry, lifeless classroom atmosphere is what kills math for youths and, although it sounds cliche, I want to make numbers fun for students again, if I can. Now a little about me. I'm a gamer, but not the unhygienic, hermit-like gamer you think of from TV - I play piano in my spare time, but mostly try to work through college without dying. Although I love dogs, I'm a cat person. I love programming and believe it is my calling in life. I have a girlfriend whom I love, and I love UNT more than any other college I've visited.
