I have taught voice lessons for 3 years and I have sang intensively for 10 years. My passions in life are singing, teaching, and plants. Teaching singing is very fun for me and I really enjoy hearing (literally) people improve. I have had experience teaching students of many different skills levels. I have had students who could not match pitch and through lessons have won vocal competitions. I have also worked with very talented singers who just needed a little help learning a different genre. My whole-hearted love for singing and teaching makes teaching how to sing pretty much my favorite thing to do! I was not satisfied in college with the lack of information regarding how to sing other genres outside of classical music. To fix this, I looked far and wide and made new friends from other countries, gathered voice research from around the world to see what was possible for someone (anyone) who wanted to learn what they needed to know for any genre, but also what they need to know for the genre of their interest. The work I have put into this research has made singing super fun for me, but more importantly it has enabled me to guide students on how to make the sound THEY want to make. That makes voice lessons much more fun and of course more useful. I can't wait to work with you!
