I am a native of Russia, now living in Providence Rhode Island. I received my education in Russia at the Moscow State Linguistic University. I am a languages teacher, focusing in teaching French and Russian. I am a fluent speaker of English, French, and Russian and I am currently learning Portuguese and Spanish. I love to teach, and I have taught many levels of foreign language learners over the years, from elementary school to adult learners. My style of teaching is centered around meeting the needs of individual students. It is my aim to help students achieve their own individual goals in learning a foreign language, whatever they may be. As a teacher, I provide class structure and provide the class material, but I also allow my students space for individual expression through the creation of free zones. Conversational practice is the most important part of mastering a language, and it is the top priority in my classes. I am very open and friendly, and I have worked with students from many different geographic backgrounds. When I work with students individually, I sit with them and we plan out the curriculum and book material that will best meet the student's goals.
