I have been tutoring since high school, starting with helping classmates in college algebra while I was taking calculus. I taught high school Precalculus and Physics for one year, and helped many students with SAT/ACT prep. As a PhD student, I have TA'd and tutored many undergraduate classes, including college algebra, business calculus, Calc 1, 2, and 3, linear algebra, differential equations, algebra, and real analysis. I also have taught ballroom dancing since 2015! As an educator, I believe it is the role of the instructor to not only present the dots (concepts) from the topic, but also show all connections to the pre-existing dots. Nothing pains me more than learning something with no context.
