Mi nombre es Beatriz, soy de España, me licencié en Filología Hispánica por la Universidad de Malaga, tengo además un Master en Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera y también otro que me certifica para la enseñanza en Secundaria de Lengua y Literatura Española, Latín y Griego. Mi experiencia en la enseñanza del espanol es variada, desde 2010 he trabajado en España, Escocia y es mi Segundo año enseñando en secundaria en los Estados Unidos. Disfruto con la gente que quiere aprender y compartiendo mi cultura y tradiciones con ellos. ¿Quieres que te ayude con tu español? My name is Beatriz, I am a teacher from Spain. I have a Degree in Spanish Language and Literature and two Master Degrees (Teaching Spanish as a foreign language and Teaching Spanish, Latin and Greek in Secondary School). I have been teaching since 2010 in Spain, Scotland and now in a US High School since last year. I enjoy teaching and sharing my culture and traditions with people who want to learn. Mi estilo de enseñanza es comunicativo, me encanta enseñar la lengua a través de la cultura y de muestras de lengua reales. Enseñar es mi pasión y me encanta que mis estudiantes disfruten mientras que aprenden. Odio las listas interminables de gramática (considero que la gramática es importante pero hay que aprender cómo aplicarla a cada situación. Adoro también conocer los intereses de mis estudiantes e incluirlos en mis clases. Hablo en español la mayor parte de la clase porque creo que el escuchar la lengua ayuda muchísimo a aprenderla. Tengo experiencia enseñando español en primaria, secundaria y español a adultos. I am a communicative teacher, I love teaching languages through culture and real situations. I think that the best way of learning is when you enjoy what you learn. I hate big grammar lists (grammar is important but it needs to be practical too). I love to know my students interests and include them in my lessons. I use mostly Spanish when teaching because I believe in the importance of a continuous input when learning a foreign language. I have experience teaching Spanish in elementary and secondary school and also Spanish for adults.

Me encanta leer, escribir, viajar, hacer senderismo, cocinar y pasar tiempo con mis amigos y familia. Soy una persona alegre y activa siempre dispuesta a descubrir cosas y aceptar nuevos retos. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, hiking, cooking and spending time with friends and family. I am a happy and active person. I am always waiting for new discoveries and challenges.
