Experience
I have worked with several students grades 7-12 in developing musical playing. I am a part of Mu Phi Epsilon, a coed music fraternity. Through this organization, I have gained experience helping younger students keep up in classes here at UNT. I want to be a tutor because I am able to work well with children/young adults, and I enjoy patiently 'connecting the dots' for students that are struggling with new concepts.

Hobbies
Outside of tutoring, I work in the University's Library during the week. On weekends I enjoy catching up on reading, researching current events, and spending time practicing my instrument. I do my best to keep an active mind, so I will be able to quickly develop a personalized approach to teaching new concepts. Through focused development of critical thinking, I hope to cultivate students' interest in academic subjects, even beyond the scope of their assignments.
