I love to teach; I am a Yoga instructor at the University of North Texas Recreation Center and have a lot of experience leading people through difficult challenges. I also have a flexible schedule and so tutoring would be a good fit for me. I am majoring in History and my focus is the American West. I have taken advanced courses in Texas history, Southern Plains Indians, and basic United States history pre and post Civil War. World History is also another strong point for me, and I have taken two upper level Art History Surveys, which gave me a different view, yet still very applicable. I have also taken United States Government (Constitutional Development and Civil Engagement). I have taken Earth Science, Geology, and Biogeography. I am a student in the Honors College at UNT and so take more advanced courses. I have recently been appointed as an Intern for the Department of History and the Texas State Historical Association. MY duties will include conducting original research for the Handbook of Texas.

Hobbies

I love everything that concerns health and fitness. I am a Yoga Instructor and Cycle Instructor as my part time job while working through college. In addition, I love Rock Climbing and running. Proper Nutrition is essential to maintaining good health and so I love to cook delicious meals. In high school I was a go getter, doing varsity sports: soccer and basketball, and I was also in theater. The arts are my second passion and I love to attend concerts, theatrical performances, and visit art museums.
