I have been tutoring for five years. During the time of tutoring I have helped many children not only learn the subject but also raise their confidence in their ability to achieve their best. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities for three years. I find all children learn different and sometimes all it takes is to introduce a new method. In high school I was commended on my writing, science and math test. I was also president of the math club for three years and an active member of the National Honor Society. I graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA. Currently I am attending TWU and maintaining a GPA above 3.0. I want to tutor because I feel every one deserves an opportunity to achieve at there best and my help can assist them in accomplishing their goals. After graduation I plan to put my child life skills to use either in the hospital or a early childhood school.
