ExperienceTeaching assistant, Department of Biological Sciences, University of North Texas
Other limited tutoring experience in math, science and music as well as some coursework in education, though it has been more than five years.
Informally, by virtue of my coursework, I am a computational biologist. I have training in the biological sciences as well as math and computer programming. I also have studied as a pre-medical student at the University of Houston with over 600 clinical hours at Texas Children's Hospital and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. I also just completed a highly competitive research internship in the emergency medicine department at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine.
I have advanced coursework in biology, virology, physiology, patho-physiology, statistics, chemistry and biochemistry.
HobbiesComputer programming, fine art (paintings and photography), sports (nfl, ncaa football), xbox.
*Please Note* Due to my own course and teaching load combined with the extra preparation work I do for each student I tutor, I will likely only be able to accept four students at any given time.
